ASHLEY N. PARRIS

Raised in the Antelope Valley, Ms. Parris attended Bethel Christian High School. Since childhood, Ms. Parris has worked in many various capacities at the R. Rex Parris Law Firm--ranging from filing clerk and summer intern to bookkeeper and law clerk. Some of her earliest memories involve her watching and helping her parents build their budding law practice into the Antelope Valley's leading law firm.

After graduating with a B.A. in Economics and French from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. in 2001, Ms. Parris decided she wanted to return to the R. Rex Parris Law Firm--this time as an attorney. Towards that end, she enrolled in Pepperdine's law school. To realize her dream of becoming a trial lawyer, Ms. Parris tried out for--and was offered a spot on--Pepperdine's competitive and nationally ranked Trial Team. As a member of the team, Ms. Parris competed as a finalist in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's 2005 Trial Competition in New York City. Ms. Parris also received the CALI (formerly American Jurisprudence) Award for receiving the highest course grade in Insurance Law--an area of law she will encounter daily in her Personal Injury and Class Action practice.

Ms. Parris worked for Judge Margaret Grignon of the Second District Court of Appeals for the State of California after her first year of law school. She also worked in the office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger for the legislative affair department after her second year of law school.

Ms. Parris received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine in May, 2005 and joined the Firm in September. She is a member of the California State Bar.
